Savannah
My family and I have had the pleasure for the last 4 years of sharing our home with Savannah. Savannah was very unsure of herself when she came to us, and unsure of whom she would be able to trust. One of the best moments in all my years with greyhounds was the night that I absent mindedly shooed a black dog away from the dinner table, where they were attempting to counter surf my dinner. When I realized that it was Savannah being such a pest, it was really a great feeling. As we've watched Savannah gain confidence in herself and in us, it's been extremely gratifying. Savannah now greets visitors at the door, does an occasional booth and even goes to Dewey Beach. It's been a wonderful experience watching her grow into the self-confident dog she is today.
